An introduction to Yoga for tots and their parents. Tots are introduced to yoga postures and breath through singing, imaginative play, and stories. We stretch, play, dance, and rest in a relaxed, no pressure environment.
First 25 minutes of class will be a "Parent & Me" format where you will introduce and engage your little one in yogi movement and breathing techniques. Last 20 minutes are just for YOU! We'll have your little one engaged in Open Play while you get some minutes to meditate and de-stress. After class, complimentary open play so feel free to stay and play with us.
Suitable for children aged 1 - 4 years. Adult participation required. 25 mins of class followed by 20 minutes of open play. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing for both parent/child. Feel free to bring your own mat or a mat is available. Drop-in $20/per pair or $215 for 12 wk session (>$18/class). Please refer to our JOIN section to sign up.
Fall session begins on Friday, September 14 and ends on Friday, December 7 for a total of 12 classes. Classes meet on Fridays from 11:30 - 12:15 pm. No class November 23.
Liz is a yoga teacher and mother of two fledgling yogi toddlers. She did her kids yoga training with Asana Alphabet, her teacher training with Dharma Mittra, and her prenatal yoga training with Mia Borgata at Lila Yoga.
