Simone Toomer is a certified birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator and doula educator/mentor for her certifying organization Doula Trainings International. She is also a certified lactation counselor and is involved in many community parenting support groups such as La Leche League as a leader and Mocha Moms, Brooklyn chapter. This passion fueled Simone to start her own doula mentorship collective Wombs and Wisdom, geared towards community support and guidance, with each doula delivering full circle care to clients for birth and postpartum.
Liz Schindler is a yoga teacher and mother of two fledgling yogi toddlers. She did her kids yoga training with Asana Alphabet, her teacher training with Dharma Mittra, and her prenatal yoga training with Mia Borgata at Lila Yoga. When she isn’t caring for her own little ones, Liz teaches prenatal, mommy and me yoga, and yoga for tots in Brooklyn. She has a strong desire to help expecting and new moms, and their little ones, develop healthy and mindful movement and breathing. Her classes offer a space to connect with other mothers, explore ever changing bodies and mental mindsets, and simply breathe in the present moment.
